LECC Preschool Staff

Sr. Julie Stapleton - LECC Principal & Teacher

Sr. Julie has taught early childhood education for many years in Chicago.  She taught Kindergarten and started a Preschool at St. Brides.  She taught a mixed age group of 3 and 4 year olds including children with special needs at Cardinal Bernardin Early Childhood Center.  Sr. Julie earned her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University in River Forest.

Susan Schuh - Teacher's Aide

Susan graduated from Valparaiso University with a B.S. in Home Economics, which included course work in childcare and development. She has taught at Loretto since 2002.Susan is married and has 3 children.  She and her family have lived in Wheaton for over 18 years.

Cheryl Engel - Teacher's Aide          

Cheryl lives in Wheaton with her husband and their 4 daughters.  She has her degree in Early Childhood Education with Special Education from C.O.D. and National Louis University.  In addition to raising her girls, Cheryl ran an in-home daycare, was the director for a Sunday school program, a Brownie/Girl Scout leader, and an "Art mom".
